Italian advanced engineering firm to partner on racing and road-relevant tech

The eSkootr Championship™ is delighted to announce a new long-term technical partnership with YCOM.

The Italian advanced technology firm which has a strong track record in designing and manufacturing vehicle technology for a number of racing operations, including winners in Formula 1 and the FIA World Endurance Championship, will develop, build and supply eSkootrs for the forthcoming electric racing series.

It has already been involved in the launch of several new racing series – both on the supplier and customer side – and will bring its experience and expertise in high performance electric vehicle technology to bear on this new partnership.

The recently launched S1-X Skootr will be supplied as a common part to all entrants for eSC’s opening seasons in order to efficiently manage and scale competitor costs. From 2023, however, teams will have greater freedom to develop and build their own eSkootr race models in the championship.
